Dr. Kenneth Lim grew up in Singapore before moving to Melbourne to pursue his dental education. He graduated from the University of Melbourne and began his career as a general dentist, gaining extensive experience in both the public and private sectors across regional Victoria and Melbourne.
Motivated by a passion for orthodontics, Dr. Kenneth returned to the University of Melbourne to undertake a three-year specialist residency program, where he earned the qualification of Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics). Following his specialist training, he was admitted as a specialist member of both The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh through examination. Dr Kenneth is a registered specialist orthodontist with the Australian Health Practitioner regulation agency.
Dr. Kenneth has a strong interest in digital dentistry, clear aligner therapy, orthographic surgery, and early interceptive orthodontic treatment. In 2019, he presented his research on ‘digitally planned and designed customized braces’ to an international audience at the European Orthodontic Society Meeting.
Having undergone orthodontic treatment himself as a teenager, Dr. Kenneth experienced firsthand the transformative power of a confident smile. This personal experience drives his commitment to helping patients achieve not only beautiful smiles but also improved oral health and self-esteem.
Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Kenneth enjoys playing recreational racket sports and watching sports on TV. On rainy afternoons, he can often be found enjoying a cozy nap with his Cavoodle.
He looks forward to welcoming you and being part of your journey towards a great smile.
